| Become a high school baseball umpire |
| |
|
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to call balls and
strikes; to be the one who decides out or safe on that close play at home or what you would say to an irate coach
who swears that, "..the hand's a part of the bat!" Experiencing high school baseball from behind the plate or on the
bases is not as far-fetched as you might think. |
|
| |
| The KBUA serves all high school games in the Jefferson and Bullitt
County areas and is in need of people who would like to umpire. Anyone can join and become a high school
baseball umpire. The KBUA has an excellent training program for those who will commit themselves to learning the game.
You will learn the rules alongside veteran officials and we conduct mechanics
clinics that put you on-the-field to show you where to be and how to get there so you can make that close call on that steal
at 2nd base.

do what it takes to make you a quality umpire, equipping you with the knowledge and confidence you need to
"get it right" when you walk onto the field next spring for your first high school baseball game. |
